Ampulis attended the PharmaEd Prefilled Syringe Conference in La Jolla, CA. Ampulis founder and CEO, Eric Sugalski, presented on the Ampoule Filled Syringe (AFS) – a novel drug delivery platform that optimizes usability and drug stability. Sugalski showcased the product functionality, its use case, target therapetuc areas, and more. This presentation led to several exciting developments with Pharmaceutical companies around the following areas:
- Biologics Compatibility – several companies saw the AFS as a strong platform for containment of biologics, due to the known stability issues.
- Range of Viscosities – companies inquired into the range of viscosities that could be supported by the AFS.
- Reconstitution Ability – companies were also interested in AFS for reconstitution applications.
- Accommodation of Large Dose Volumes – pharmaceutical companies were interested in accommodating larger dose volumes in the AFS configuration.
Overall, the conference was a successful one for Ampulis and all of the other attendees that were engaged.
